We are an independent digital studio specializing in creative, human-focused food content.

Our Philosophy

We believe that food is a conversation.

Every ingredient is a thoughtful addition, the techniques are evocative anecdotes, and each flavor presents a unique perspective.

At Copper & Heat, we tell stories that, like the best meals, challenge preconceived notions and delve into the forces that shape them.

Meet Our Founders

Katy Osuna

Creative Lead & Cheese Maker

Katy blends her anthropology degree with her passion for food culture and cooking, honed in restaurant kitchens over the past decade, including artisan butcher shops and three-star Michelin restaurants. Now at the helm of Copper & Heat, she spends her days innovating in the kitchen, editing audio, and chronicling Bella the PodCat’s antics.

Rachel Palmer

Design Lead & Natural Dye Artist

Rachel is an artist, designer, educator, and self-proclaimed podcast fanatic. From jamming the graveyard college radio shift to grassroots reporting with the local radio station, she loves audio storytelling in its many different forms. She studied broadcast journalism and has been working in the media industry for the past decade.
